Is dating in college necessary? Why and why not?

Well, there’s no law or rules that forbids you to not date in college. Is it necessary ? Not really, but that doesn’t mean you need to go social isolation mode. So many college kids believe that if they don’t date they need to socially isolate themselves and just go full gear on academics. That’s terrible. Don’t listen to those fake Instagram stories where they tell you to take 20 years off dating and in your 40s all girls will chase you.

Your goal of going to college is academics. That’s your priority. What you should also be focusing on is building friendship. Now I understand that some people are more introvert than others and that’s ok. But if your goal of going to college is to get girls I can tell you that you are coming off as desperate. Don’t be that guy. But don’t be those psychopaths Red Pill incels who bitch about how girls are whores and thots and are only going after “high value man”

I’m speaking from a man’s perspective

Ive been pretending to be okay and acting as normal as possible, but Im actually completely heartbroken after a recent breakup. Its painful and really affecting me, to the point where I cant concentrate at work, Ive lost my appetite, I cant sleep, and It feels as if my whole world has been turned upside down. I loved him so much. He said so many cruel things to me and it made me realize he must not have loved me the way I loved him, or he wouldnt have said such horrible things. How do I handle the heartbreak and why cant I accept that he didnt love me and just forget about him?

Just relax and enjoy college. Just focus on your academics and find time to build friends. Again college is the best time to build friends. Take time to socialize with your classmate. Get to know them. And if you have 1 that you think it’s cool, ask them to go grab lunch during breaks. Or ask them to hang out somewhere.

Again, take baby steps. Start with focusing on building friends and go from there. You never know, sometimes that friend that you made will end up introduce you to one of their hot single girl friends.
